accident on Interstate 81.

last night near the Dixie Caverns exit
in Roanoke County.
According to State Police, the
driver of a Suburban was northbound
when he ran into a car that had stopped
on the side of the interstate.
That car had hit a deer and
pulled over to check the damage.
The two women in the car were
injured.
Regina McMaster is listed in
serious condition at Roanoke Memorial.
And Madeline Bradford was treated
and released.
The driver of the S-U-V, David
White of Raleigh, North Carolina, has
been charged with reckless driving.

seven- thousand people living on the
slopes of the volcano.
Following a mandatory evacuation
order Monday, emergency officials began
knocking on the doors of poor farmers
who live in areas most at risk.
The 14- thousand foot Galeras
volcano has erupted more than 20 times
since the 15- 00's, and sits near the
border of Ecuador.
This marks the second evacuation the
Colombian government has ordered this
year.
