suicide of a well know political
activist from Giles County and her
boyfriend.
Last night friends gathered in
Blacksburg to remember the life of
Susan Daniels and speak out about
violence against women.

A small group held a candlelight
vigil through the streets of downtown
Blacksburg.
It ended on the Virginia Tech
campus, a place Daniels was known to
hold rallies for causes she believed
in.
Her friends say this vigil is a
fitting tribute.

they've broken up a check stealing
operation from out of state.
The suspects allegedly took
checks right out of people's mailboxes.

a blue Chevy Cavalier with South
Carolina license tags as they drove
from North Carolina to Southwest
