With financial help from the city,

Marshall vs. Virginia Tech Zabian Dowdell led the team onto :00 the floor last night - but starting
center Coleman Collins was still out to

be with his ailing father.

Marshall had the lead early, but
Jamon Gordon would take of the deficit
with a flick of the wrist as he bottoms
out the three ball from the top of the
key.

Later in the opening half -
Gordon would be in position for another
triple, but this time he fakes and goes
to the rack for the one handed
throwdown. Jamon finished the night
with 15.

Marshall might have been able to
make it a game, but hoops like this one
were few and far between as the Herd
shot just 34 percent. *CG final Marshall
