Following a White House
tradition, President Bush today spared
the lives of two turkey's during the
yearly Turkey Pardoning ceremony.

The birds are named Marshmallow
and Yam.

The spared turkeys are usually
sent to Frying Pan Park in Virginia but
this years birds are going to
Disneyland where they will serve as
honorary grand marshals.

The President took the
opportunity to remind Americans of the
sacrifices being made by the armed
forces and said it's through their
courage and skill that "we are safe as
a nation."
