region are dealing with heavy traffic
and some fender-benders .

Late this afternoon, this
accident on Interstate 81 in Botetourt
County caused headaches for drivers, as

frustration with police literally.

Officers say they went to this
home on Mason Mill Road three times
yesterday in response to complaints
about the family's dogs.

On the third visit police say two
pit-bulls charged them, and they were
forced to fire on the dogs, killing
one.

But, the dogs' owners say the
officer shot their pregnant pit-bull
unnecessarily.

They even put up signs in their
front yard in protest.

The second dog was taken away by
animal control.

morning, he discovered that almost all
of the church's electronics and sound
equipment had been taken.

Police determined that the
burglars broke into a side door to the

office equipment.

one road in Radford over the next few
days.

closed to traffic because of paving.

The work is part of the Forest
Park Sanitary Sewer Improvement
project, which began last month.

Officials say weather permitting,
the road should be open again by
