the Virginia Attorney General race.

reactive.

Officials say they're now in the
research process to decide what to do
with the computer equipment already on
the shelves.

the death of a Virginia Tech student-
his family is now offering a reward for
information.

Brian McCloskey was found lying
*unconscious* on a jogging trail about
a mile from campus.

He died a week later and police

organizations say a *10-thousand dollar
reward* is being offered by the
McCloskey family.

Later today, Blacksburg Police

student athletes living in subsidized
housing, while needy families sit on
waiting lists.

Virginia Tech was one of the

schools featured in that report.

However, Tech officials say the
sports network didn't give the full
story.

student athletes living in Cambridge
Square Apartments.

The apartments are federally
subsidized section-8 housing -- meaning
they are paid for by the government to
house low income families.

The story said many of these
students are beating the system and
making hundreds of dollars in cash,
while tax payers foot the bill.

But Virginia Tech officials say
ESPN did not give viewers a complete
picture of what's going on in
Blacksburg.

public to help them nab a robber.

It was about 2:45 yesterday
morning, when the suspect bought gas
and a drink at the Stop In store on
Forest Road.

When the clerk opened the
register, he shoved one hand in a coat
pocket and demanded

money.

This is surveillance video of
the crime: the suspect is white male,
about 30 years old with short dark
hair.

He fled the scene in what looked
like a red Ford Taurus.

Anyone who might recognize him
is asked to call the Bedford police.

GRAPHIC=Accident An ambulance usually arrives at


the scene of an accident, but yesterday

an ambulance was involved in one.

The privately owned rig had just
transported a patient, when it tried to
stop for a school bus in Tazewell
County and hit a work truck.

The ambulance then flipped over
in the median on Route 460.

A crew member was treated at a
hospital for head injuries and was
released.
