The men were working on scaffolding
outside the 12th floor of an office
building, when wind gusts collapsed it,
causing the men to swing back and forth
into the windows- breaking them.

Firefighters broke out a window and

pulled the men inside.

One man suffered minor injuries.

The scaffolding continued to sway in
the wind, crashing again into the
windows.

OSHA investigators are looking into
why the men were working when the winds
were so strong.

:00 NASCAR has again taken over New

York.

The awards banquet is Friday
night, but earlier today traffic
stopped in this city.

The drivers began their day at
the New York Stock Exchange and then
strapped themselves inside their cars
and literally hit the streets on a two
and a half mile mile long ride down
Broadway right through Time Square.

They began on 48th Street and
ended up on Park Avenue at NASCAR's
New York headquarters.

Lord Botetourt vs. Hidden Valley Emery Wallace would have to sit :00 this game out in street clothes as the
knee she injured last year continues to

The Cavs would have their ace
tonight - as Nicci Moats catches the
inbounds base near the bucket, turns

around her defender and kisses the
deuce in off the glass.

The Titans would come back on the
other end with Abby Boggs passing
inside to Abby Redick - and the
freshman will hit the short jumper on
the baseline for Hidden Valley.

The Titans again - this time
sophomore Abby Oliver hauls in the long
pass from Rebecca Danahy (DAN-UH-HEE)
to put the home team on top by seven in
the second quarter. *CG final Lord Botetourt

Prince has emerged as the leading

OQ=...15 TO 14." << And it is worth taking a look at
(END SOT) for sure.

The late fourth quarter pass to
the Salem sideline was clearly out of
bounds. But it was ruled a touchdown
and it did enable Salem to tie the
game.

It's unfortunate because the play
altered the game, however, to think
that official did it on purpose is
absurd. It was a mistake, a bad one
for sure, but nothing more than human
error.

And to be quite honest, I'm not
sure it's even the most controversial
call in 22 years of Friday Football
Extra.

In the 1984 playoff game between
Covington and GW Carver, this incomlete
pass is waved off by one official and
over-ruled and called atouchdown by
another. As you look at the play - it
was clearly the wrong call, but the
official simply saw something he really
didn't see. It was in the playoffs but

didn't affect the outcome as Covington
beat GW Carver 20-to-nothing.

But nothing tops this play from
September of 1987.

Salem and Fleming at Salem
Stadium. Fleming is one top 14-to-7 in
the third when the Colonels Warren
Arrington stripped Salem's Timmy Smith
of the football. Fleming's Albert
Wilson recovered for the Colonels. But
the refs ruled that the runner was down
by contact. Fleming would go on to
lose that game by a single point
15-to-14.
