armed men burst into a college dorm
room and robbed the students of money

Now police say there's more to it
than that ... and that this was no
random act.

Two 19-year-old male residents say
the suspects burst into their room
wearing ski masks and brandishing
handguns.

while working at the Log House
Restaurant in Wytheville yesterday.

Co-workers say Smith was waiting
on a table around 4:30 in the afternoon
when she accidently backed into the
fireplace.

A family member says she ran
through the restaurant into the kitchen
and out the backdoor before somebody
knocked her to the ground and put out
the flames.

Smith is in a Winston Salem
Hospital tonight in critical condition.

The owners are outraged, but
