Last Night Authorities say a Ford Explorer
driven by Justin Emmanuel Showalter was
traveling southbound on Bent Mountain
Road, south of Coleman Road, when it
crossed into the northbound lane.

The Explorer struck a tractor
trailer head-on.

Showalter was taken to a local
hospital where he later died.

Two other passengers in the
explorer were also taken to the
hospital.

Their conditions are not known at
this time.

last night.

driven by Justin Emmanuel Showalter was
traveling southbound on Bent Mountain
Road, south of Coleman Road, when it
crossed into the northbound lane.

The Explorer struck a tractor
trailer head-on.

Showalter was taken to a local
hospital where he later died.

Two other passengers of the
explorer were also taken to the
hospital.

Their conditions are not known at
this time.

Police say alcohol may have been

bull.

Road, south of Coleman Road, when it

trailer head-on.

hospital where he later died.

Two other passengers in the
explorer were also taken to the
hospital.

robbery on the campus of Lynchburg
College was "not" a random act of
violence.

room in Hundley Hall early Tuesday and
stole cash and cellphones at gunpoint
from the residents.

Authorities now say some drugs
were stolen as well ... and that the
victims probably knew the suspects.

police, making it difficult to make any
arrests.

with no place to go.

these stranded pets.

loving homes, more are needed.
