in the last two years, including a
broken leg and a broken arm.
But the past two weeks, Cedric
Humes has shown what he's truly capable
of, topping the 100 yard rushing mark
against UVA and North Carolina.
Mike Stevens has more on the
Hokie senior as the ACC title game
draws closer.

OQ=...NEWS 7 SPORTS." << In his regular season finale
(END SOT) Cedric Humes had a senior moment - the
Virginia Beach native ripped through
the North Carolina defense for a career
high 134.
Add that to the 113 he racked up
against UVa the week before - and Humes
rushing total is now up to 632 yards
with 10 touchdowns.
Add those numbers to the 261
yards Brandon Ore has accounted for the
past two weeks and it's easy to see why
the the questions about Tech's running
game have died down.
CEDRIC HUMES
Humes play has been somewhat
amazing when you consider that he broke
his arm in the Marshall game had
surgery and returned to action just 19
days later with a metal plate in his
right forearm.
The recovery is almost the exact
opposite from the way he came back from
a broken ankle that hindered most of
the 2004 season.
CEDRIC HUMES
In the last two games - Humes and
Ore are averaging a whopping 7 yards a
carry.
FSU is barely allowing 3.
