firin'. Ethan Stewart goes up top for
Lorenzo Miles, but the pass is picked
off at the goal line by Jonathon

Hawkins to end the threat.

Later, Stewart and Jon David Reed
make a connection over the middle and
Reed breaks a couple of tackles taking
the pigskin deep into Indians territory
before he's brought down.

That led to this--Miles takes
the handoff and scores from a couple of
yards out, but the PAT failed and it
was 6-nothing Burton.

Later in the first half, the
Raiders went looking for more, but
Matthew Heldreth makes the interception
for Rural Retreat and turns in a nice
return. *CG final J.I. Burton But there wasn't nearly enough offense 14 today for the Indians as J-I Burton won Rural Retreat it 14 to 6.

Surry Co. vs. William Campbell The Generals looked to drop the :00 hammer on the visiting Cougars in this
one.

Early on, William Campbell's
Danny Broggin pumps once and then airs
it out to James Haley in the endzone
and just like that it was 7-nothing
Generals.

A blocked punt would give the
home team another 7 points, before Matt
Barbour heated things up. Barbour
hauled in this 44 yard reception from
Broggin to setup the Generals third
score of the half.

Barbour does the honors, *CG final Surry Co. by taking it across the plane from 7 7 yards out to make it 21-zip William William Campbell Campbell. The Generals advance to face 28 J-I Burton next week in Harrisonburg
with the 28-7 victory.
