Martinsville vs. Patrick Henry The Martinsville Bulldogs and
:00 head coach Troy Wells continued their
tour of the Western Valley district as
they visited Patrick Henry.
Early - Shaquan Beamer with the
nice cut to the hoop and the pull-up
jumper for the Dogs.
But the Patriots can flat out
hoop this year. Off the back pick
watch Ajalan Elliott cut to the rack,
take the pass from Mark Grogan and drop
in the layin for PH.
Then the Patriots show how to
overplay the passing lanes and run the
floor in transition. Mike Hunt with
the steal and assist, and Grogan with
the finish as Jack Esworthy's club
pushes its lead into double digits.
The Dogs would stay within
striking distance with nice efforts
like this one from Emanuel Reid on the
baseline drive.
*CG final Martinsville
63 But PH was too much. Gus Payne
Patrick Henry just blows by the defense and scores
80 and easy one. Patriots beat the
Bulldogs 80 to 63.

They did it first class and
strictly by the book - before the old
