Friday Football Extra awards banquet -
the Roy Stanley Scholarship Foundation
will be handing out its annual $1000
dollar scholarships.

In the beginning, the goal was to
honor two students a year.

But the foundation has grown to
the point where it is handing out five
scholarships this year.

If you are a high school senior
looking for some cash for college the
good news is that you still have time
to apply and honor Roy's memory.

ENG#=2 VO-NAT

*CG locator Miami, FL 37 plus

This patient happens to be a 13 year
old Bengal Tiger-

Zookeepers noticed she had broken her
right canine tooth so they arranged a
root canal to prevent pain and
infection.

While a human dentist worked,
zookeepers took advantage of having the
tiger knocked out-

Vets gave her a complete physical...
checking for signs of skin
cancer-because white tigers are prone
to it.

22

Vets checked the eyes- because that's
a common spot where the cancer first
appears.

They also x-rayed the tigers leg

after they noticed her limping.

The prognosis- the tiger is healthy-
although she's suffering from a bit of
arthritis and will be given pain
killers for that.
