It's been weeks since election
night but today the groundwork for a
recount in the Virginia's Attorney
General race has been set.

Attornies for Bob McDonnell and
Creigh Deeds met in court today and a
judge scheduled the recount for
December 20th.

Attornies for both parties
believe the recount will only take one
day.

Results will then be sent to
Richmond to be certified.

A trial to name the winner of the
recount is set for December 21st.

Keith, the state board of
elections will tally up all the results
of the recount.

A three judge panel will also
rule on any disputed ballots and
determine the winner.

Today attornies for both sides
met before one of the judges on that
panel to start laying the ground work
for the recount.

And, as expected, there were
several points of contention over how
ballots will be handled.
