The first woman to testify against
Saddam Hussein sat shielded behind a

disguise her voice.

"i was forced to take my clothes off"

Witness 'A' as she was called - blamed

Saddam directly -- for the

torture she endured after she was
rounded up with others in the village

of Dujail, after an assassination
attempt on Saddam had failed.

But another witness recounted a similar
story -- and was unable to pin

anything DIRECTLY on the former
dictator.

WITH A PHRASE HE'S USED HERE BEFORE...
'GOOD MORNING TO ALL THOSE WHO

RESPECT THE LAW.'

again lecturing the judge and

complaining about his conditions in
captivity:

not?

As the trial went on....

The insurgency raged across Baghdad.
Two bombers strapped with

explosives blew themselves up inside
the city's police academy. At

least two dozen people were killed.
Authorities believe the bombers

were students... able to slip past

About 15-hundred people were killed in
April 1912, when the ship struck an
iceberg on its maiden voyage, and went
down in the North Atlantic.

Historian Parks Stephenson says he
believes that the discovery of more
wreckage from the Titanic suggests it
broke into THREE sections, and sank
even faster than previously thought.

An expedition sponsored by the
History Channel found two hull pieces--
each roughly 40 feet by 90 feet--
lying about a third of a mile from the
rest of the wreck.

The explorers said the location of
the wreckage indicates the ship's
bottom came off the ship intact.

That would mean the ship probably
sank in five minutes or less.

GRAPHIC=GATOR BOWL Virginia Tech has sold out of its

ticket allotment for the Gator Bowl.

All 12 thousand 750 tickets are
gone.

The President of the Gator Bowl -
Rick Catlett - says he thinks the crowd

will be fine and that only about half
of Tech's potential traveling fan base
was in town this past Saturday for the
ACC championship.

There will be plenty of incentive
to get that 11th win, but it will take
some doing to match the crowds that
Tech has taken to Northern Florida in
the past.

In their four previous Gator Bowl
appearances - they took over the city.

Catlett and the Gator Bowl folks

- know that why there's a chance some
of those fans may pass this year - the
Hokies were simply too much of a known
quality to pass on this year.

In one other note, Tech Assistant
head coach Billy Hite said the Tech
coaching staff sent what it considers
to be 20 questionable plays from the
Florida State game to the ACC's
director of officiating. On a normal
week, Tech sends the office 3.
