The Southbound lanes of

The rig went down a steep embankment
yesterday near mile marker 123 in
Montgomery County.

So weather permitting, VDOT and State

between Dixie Caverns and
Christiansburg , starting at 9:00 a.m.

The work could take several hours, and
while it's in progress,

traffic will be detoured onto Routes 11

October Bill White told News 7 back in
October that he and other members of
the Nationalist Socialist movement
planned the march to address the issue
of black crime in the city.

But before the demonstration could
even begin protesters took the streets
looting and burning businesses. The
violence lasted for four hours and
ended with more than a hundred arrests.

This time the march will be confined
to the downtown area and anyone
attending will have to pass through a
metal detector. Officials are hoping
the cold weather will also cool off any
violence this time.

wrecked tractor trailer.

The rig went down a steep embankment
yesterday near mile marker 123 in
Montgomery County.

So weather permitting, VDOT and State
Police will close the southbound lanes
between Dixie Caverns and
Christiansburg , starting at 9:00 a.m.

The work could take several hours, and
while it's in progress,

October Bill White told News 7 back in
October that he and other members of
the Nationalist Socialist movement
planned the march to address the issue
of black crime in the city.

But before the demonstration could
even begin protesters took the streets
looting and burning businesses. The
violence lasted for four hours and
ended with more than a hundred arrests.

This time the march will be confined
to the downtown area and anyone
attending will have to pass through a
metal detector. Officials are hoping
the cold weather will also cool off any
violence this time.

A three- judge panel made that
ruling yesterday.

Attorneys for Creigh Deeds say
some ballots weren't counted on
election night and need to be run
through their machines to ensure an
accurate count.

However, the panel sided with
attorneys for Bob McDonnell who argued
that only contested ballots should be
re- run.

The court learned that nine
localities- including Lynchburg and
Martinsville use optical- scan machines
that can't be programmed to recount
vote totals for just one race.

That means re- running ballots
there could have resulted in thousands
of votes having to be counted by hand.

The recount's scheduled for
December 20th.
