today have rocked neighborhoods north
of London and even some areas inside
the British capital.
Police say there is nothing to
support anything other than an
accident, but no one knows what will be
revealed once the dark clouds of smoke
have dispersed.

The explosions were massive, the
ensuing fire spectacular. The
Buncefield oil depot went up in a
roaring blaze shortly after six in the
morning local time...the blasts so
powerful they were felt 30 miles to the
south in London. The terminal, one of
britain's largest = supplies oil and
gasoline to a large part of southeast
england. It's located in an industrial
park with not many homes nearby - but
those who live in the area reported
substantial damage, as did operators of
businesses in the area = guests at a
nearby ramada inn were evacuated after
the windows were blown out. Throughout
the morning the flames raged, a thick
column of black smoke billowing into
the sky...but nearby Luton Airport -
about ten miles from the fire -
continued normal operations, as police
issued a statement saying there was
nothing to suggest the explosions were
anything other than an industrial

Workers with a crane and sling
have moved the Southwest airliner off a
Chicago city street where the jet
stopped after sliding off a Midway
Airport runway on Thursday.
Federal investigators have
learned that a key braking system may
have failed on the plane.
A little boy was killed in the
accident.

Richard Pryor re-defined the
African-American funnyman. He spoke
frankly to integrated audiences using
rough language and off-colored jokes.
His comments on society were peppered
with four-lettered words and the
N-word. (HBO special) "Two grab your

(bleep) Man, he broke. Can you break a
n------? (imitating a white voice).
Yeah, breaking a n------ is OK. Yep,
right here in the manual, page 382."
He pushed the envelope when it came to
differences between whites and blacks.

mean you be dead when they through. Did
you know that? The n------- say 'yeah
man, I know that'. The whites say 'no
man, I didn't know that." Pryor
starred in more than two-dozen movies,
some of which he wrote and directed.

haunted with failed marriages, violence
and substance abuse. In 1980, he
literally set himself on fire while
free-basing cocaine, but he persevered
and heeded the advice of his

tractor trailer that went over an
embankment off Interstate-81 in
Montgomery County.

Ohio yesterday afternoon -- to protest
their treatment during a previous
rally.

In October, the group's planned
march sparked a four-hour riot.
That riot *ended* with businesses

Ohio were mobilized yesterday to guard
against another riot.
Anti-racist groups are also
mobilizing and plan to speak out
against the white supremacists.

The blasts woke people from their
sleep this morning and hurled huge fire
balls into the sky.

Jefferson Street to allow hundreds of
participants the chance to run in
Lewis-Gale's annual Jingle Bell Run for
Arthritis.
Many dressed in not only their
running gear, but some holiday apparel

5k race.
Entry fees for the race will be
used to fund research into the cause
and treatment of arthritis.
