soldier killed in Iraq.

Jared Kubasak KOO-buh-sak died Tuesday,
when an explosive device detonated near
his Bradley Fighting Vehicle during
patrol operations south of Baghdad.

Kubasak graduated from Franklin County
High School in 1999.
Yesterday, the school honored him
with flags flown at half staff, and a
moment of silence.
Jim Worley was one of Kubasak's
teachers, though he was more than that,
too.
He was his Cub Scout leader,

recovering from a weekend suicide
bomber attack.

soldier killed in Iraq.

Jared Kubasak KOO-buh-sak died Tuesday,
when an explosive device detonated near
his Bradley Fighting Vehicle during
patrol operations south of Baghdad.

High School in 1999.
Yesterday, the school honored him
with flags flown at half staff, and a
moment of silence.
Jim Worley was one of Kubasak's
teachers, though he was more than that,
too.

Carson, Colorado.

patrol operations south of Baghdad.
