Last Month Star City Roller Skating closed
suddenly last month, as the bank was
about to foreclose on the property.

The man who had operated the rink for
the past six years left the place in
shambles.

Food was strewn all over the place
and much of the equipment was destroyed
or ripped out of the wall.

Dazzle vs RimRockers The game on Wednesday was a high
scoring affair with the Dazzle coming
out on the short end.

Trying to use the long-distance
game to keep it from happening again.
Anthony Grundy with the 3-pointer.
Dazzle up by 2.

But the RimRockers have some
shooters as well. Myron Allen from the
corner. It's good and he ends up on
his rear end.

Grundy had it going. He finished
with 20 points, hits again from deep
*CG final Arkansas off the nice dish from Will Bynum, but 124 not enough. Arkansas beats the Dazzle Roanoke 124 to 110.

today, and last night, they
worked out inside Virginia Tech's
Rector Field House,

So in between they worked out the
lunch Menu for the annual Championship
luncheon that is sponsored by Your
Hometown Station.

Nearly 500 folks were in
attendance including the newly crowned
State Champion football team from
Salem.

While both teams were finishing
their lunches, the playing surface at
Salem Stadium was being cleaned up for
the kickoff.

As your heard earlier crews from
all areas of the city's government
pitched in manpower to get things ready
for kickoff.

For fans - rest assured the
stands and parking area are clear and
ready.
