A water main break -sometime
yesterday, cut the supply to homes on
Lester Avenue, Ruston and Whither
Streets.

No one with the Water Authority
could tell us when the water would be
back on, or how many people are without
water, although a recording said it
should have been back on at midnight
this morning.

This is the last weekend before

she lost her hearing while recording an
album.

You might think it was the result of
exposure to loud music or noise, but
that's not the case with this type of
hearing loss. Doctors can't always
pinpoint a cause, but in some cases a
virus is to blame.

Roanoke Audiologist Kimberly Lower
says with sudden hearing loss, it can
come on quickly usually within 72
hours, many people report just waking
up and not being able to hear.

women who drank at least two cups of
black or green tea daily significantly
reduced their risk for ovarian cancer.

compared to non-tea drinkers, and 24%
for those women who drank at least one
cup a day.

to recent study. But Dr. Stephen Remine
says he'd like to see additional
studies before ruling out the
possibility. He says what we do know is

A water main break sometime
yesterday cut the supply to homes on
Lester Avenue, Ruston and Whither
Streets.

No one with the Water Authority
could tell us when the water would be
back on, or how many people are
affected, although a recording said it
