ballots to a three-judge panel
overseeing the recount for Attorney
General.

have certified the city's results and
re-counted by hand close to 14-hundred
ballots from the precinct at Linkhorne
Middle School.
In the end, Republican Bob

was nabbed, thanks to some quick police
work.

bank on Main Street yesterday, demanded
money and fled on foot.
38-year-old Jewel Roop, Junior
was arrested a short time later after
he fell down an embankment near
Blackwater Creek.
Police recovered the money and

the man, and get him into isolation at
a local hospital.

says he's not sure where the man may
have contracted T-B, but it's possible
he may have been infected months ago.
Symptoms of T-B can include a
cough that lasts three weeks or more,

The entire city of Salem
was invited to the Civic Center to
congratulate the high school football
team.
It's a tradition for Salem to
hold a community-wide celebration to
recognize their championship teams.
Salem has won back to back
