morning- a women wanted for attempted
murder and felony hit and run is in
custody.

Police say 25-year-old Leiben
Patrick struck a 28-year-old female and
a three-year-old girl on Dean Drive.

It happened sometime Saturday
afternoon.

The child was airlifted to
Roanoke Memorial and is listed in
stable condition.

Police say more information will
be released later this morning.

Fairfax County Police say they
found three men and one woman

dead in a home in Great Falls at around
10:30 yesterday morning when they
responded to reports of gunfire.

They say one of the dead bodies
was the gunman's.

Investigators found evidence in
that home that led them to a second

home, this one in McLean.

They found the fifth victim, a
woman, outside that home.

hospital after a head-on collision in
Stewartsville.

It happened shortly before four
o'clock Saturday afternoon in the
five-thousand block of Jordantown Road.

Officials say 26-year-old Billy
Evans crashed his Ford Ranger head-on
with a car -- driven by a 15-year-old
boy.

There were three passengers in
the truck, including a four-year-old

and an 18-month old.

The 18-month-old was airlifted to
Roanoke Memorial hospital.

The conditions of the juveniles
are unknown.

left one woman dead in Pittsylvania
County is still underway.

Fire investigators responded to
this house in the six-thousand block of
Fox Trail early Saturday morning.

When firefighters arrived, flames

were pouring from the house and the
roof had partially collapsed.

One person was found dead inside
the house.

Officials aren't releasing the
victim's name until the family has
been notified.

The cause of the fire is still
under investigation.

Authorities do NOT suspect arson
or foul play.

According to Sheriff Cliff
Davidson he received a call around
seven o'clock Christmas Eve.

Thelma Greenway Howard and Thomas
"Sonny" Howard- both 60-years-old -
were found dead inside a trailer
outside of their home.

The Sheriff says nothing was
disturbed and no foul play is
suspected, but he wouldn't confirm if
there were wounds on the bodies.

They've been sent to the medical
examiner's office for autopsy.

cause of an accident in Hillsville.

TAKE VO State Police say the accident
happened on Route 221 early yesterday
morning.

The female driver of this SUV
slid on an icy patch of road in a turn,
and went off the road.


The car landed upside in a creek.

Officials say the woman was taken
to Wake Forest *Baptist Medical Center*
in Winston-Salem.

She's listed as an extremely
critical patient.

both on disability and says after
paying for medicine they have nothing
left, which means this wood will be
their most cherished gift they receive

Project Warm.

And, although they would never

they are pretty well staffed.
