The Roanoke restaurant theater at
Crossroads mall has closed.
A message on the answering
machine blames lack of community
support, and not enough good employees.
The Western Sizzlin' at
Crossroads shut down this week, too,
when the lease expired.
The franchise owner says he had
tried to buy the building to fix it up,
but was unable to close the deal.

ESPN - MPC Bowl The Golden Eagles were trying to
shake off the disappointment of having
to play in this game, and in the first
half they were all business.
Matt Ryan and Tony Gonzalez
hooked up for two touchdowns in the

nothing halftime lead.
But the Eagles had to hang on as
Boise was driving for the win in the
closing seconds.
