Vipers vs Fury Coaches Jim Wiley and Daniel

Muskegon.

And this wasn't the plan. 16
seconds into the game Ryan Keller
skates in on Jamie Hodson and unleashes
the shot for the goal and it's 1 to
nothing Fury.

The Scoring parade would continue
in the first period as Billy Collins is
sitting in the slot and scores a goal,
yes it was in the net.

Muskegon would tack on another
goal to make it 3 to nothing and the
Vipers *CG final Muskegon Charlie Elezi had had enough, he does a 8 little dosi-Do on the ice but not Roanoke enough as the Vipers fall 8 to 4.

Hokies vs Panthers was High Point who came into the
Cassell this evening to face Tech.

Hokies would get off to a quick
start, Dawn Chriss dribbles to her
left, finds a good spot and hits the
jumper for 2 of her 13 points on the
night.

The Panthers Leslie Cook trying
to keep her team in this one, she would
drain the long one from the top of the
key, but High Point still trailed by 18
at half.

More Tech in this one, Roshana
Jackson takes the pass from Brittany

Cook and uses the nice turnaround in
the lane for the bucket.
*CG final High Point And the Hokies kept pouring it 52 on, Cook from out of Narrows hits from Virginia Tech distance and Tech rebounds with their 91 highest scoring output of the season,
91 to 52 the final.

Maroons vs Panthers Instead of the Consolation game
this afteroon at the Bast Center.

The Panthers got off to a good
start, Keith Harris off the inbounds
play gets an easy bucket inside to put
Ferrum up by 4.

They would try and even the

record this season as Rob Fuller drives
hard to the basket with the acrobatic
lay-up and gets it to go along with the
foul.

But Roanoke would come back.
A.J. Dowell with the drive and pretty
floater, the friendly rim help as well,
he had 7 points and 7 rebounds.

*CG final Ferrum Maroons got more production from their 66 bench as Ben Schrader hits the long Roanoke College jumper, he led Roanoke in scoring with 73 14 points and the Maroons win again 73
to 66 the final score.

OQ=...I'M MIKE STEVENS." << This summer when Abby Redick
(END SOT) enrolled at Hidden Valley - the Redick

family knew right away that the winter
basketball season would be interesting
in more ways than one - especially with
older brother David still at Cave
Spring in his senior season.

DAVID REDICK

Most people at both schools have
now adjusted - but for the Redick
parents the challenge of watching both
play - often on the same night - at
different venues - has taken some
serious planning.

JEANIE REDICK

The calendar is color coded and
often a blur with not only David and
Abby's games, but also the schedule for
some guy named J.J.

While you would think they would
divide and conquer on most nights -
Jeanie and husband Ken actually prefer
to watch as a couple.

Next Friday night things will get
both easier and harder when the Cave
Spring and Hidden Valley boys and girls
varsity teams play a doubleheader at
Cave Spring.
