Montgomery County manhunt with an
arrest today.

VO-NAT 26 year-old Jamie Wayne Lytton
was spotted in some tall grass outside
the Blacksburg town limits.
*CG locator Montgomery Co. Police searched a three- mile
radius using dogs and a state police
helicopter.
Earlier in the day, a sheriff's
deputy tried to serve Lytton
misdemeanor warrants.
He was allegedly driving a stolen
farm tractor.
Police say the deputy told him to
turn it off, but Lytton said he didn't
know how.
The tractor stalled. Lytton
restarted it, and police say he backed
over the deputy.
The deputy is doing okay but has
a lot of scrapes and bruises.

Thomas Lee Crowder, Junior,
stands charged with first- degree
murder, nearly two decades after the
crime was committed.

April 1987 Bertha Sommardahl was found dead
in her Grandin Villa apartment in 1987.
Authorities said it looked like
her killer got into the ground-floor
apartment through an unlocked window.
There was a lot of physical
evidence, but it took until last month
to develop a link to Crowder.
Once he was processed on a
cocaine possession conviction, the
state crime lab says it matched the
D-N-A sample Crowder provided. He was
taken into custody last week.

weekend when the Wahoos will play their
first A-C-C Home Game of the season as
they host Clemson at University Hall.

record and is coming off a loss to
Western Kentucky and already
shorthanded the Cavs are dealing with
injuries to there 2 co-captains. Sean
Singletary has a lingering hip injury

dealing with a hamstring. That just
adds to the things that Coach Leitao
has been dealing with in his first
season in Charlottesville

Game will be played this evening. This
one by far the biggest, it is the
Grand-Daddy of them all, the Rose Bowl
as Southern Cal and Texas will square
off for the undisputed National
Championship. Both teams come in
undefeated, the Trojans are the
defending champions while the Longhorns
are trying to return to the top of the
mountain.

morning.

into a marathon. The Game went into
triple overtime, with a number of
missed field goals on both sides that
could have won the game at any point.

the uprights and claiming the 26 to 23

5-hundred.

Super Bowl of Nascar, Bill Elliott will
hope to be in the field. The 2-time
winner will try and make the race in a
car fielded by M-B-2 Motorsports.
Elliott has driven a part-time schedule
for the past 2 seasons for Everham
Racing but has not raced in the
Daytona-5-hundred since 2-thousand and
3. He will take over the 36 car for
Speed Week that was driven by Boris
Said last season. Elliott will be in
the car for the Budweiser Shootout on
February 11th.
