the latest on Virginia Tech quarterback
Marcus Vick.
Yesterday, he was permanently
dismissed from Hokie Football.
This afternoon, a press
conference was held to further explain
the circumstances behind that
dismissal.

Myranda, one of the main efforts
of the news conference was to lay down
a time line of when Tech officials knew
about the latest of Marcus' legal
troubles.

Marcus Vick innocently stepping,
or purposely stomping.
Since then, things have escalated
to the point of Marcus Vick being
dismissed.
That's why officials gathered to
set the record straight.

previous legal troubles, the university

Apparently on December 17th
Marcus struck out.

the charges?
Beamer says Marcus told him on
December 19th that a friend driving a
car registered to Vick failed to pay
for car insurance.
Therefore, Marcus got a citation
for driving with a suspended license.

his actions. Saying "I deeply regret

Vick's Mom Brenda Boddie.
She says she cried most of
Friday, but hopes that her youngest son
can one prove his doubters wrong.
