It was a friend who discovered a
broken window at the apartment on King
George Avenue and called police.

They ruled the death a homicide
and began canvassing the area with
Police Academy recruits and a tracking
dog.

The victim, Donald Lee Seis sice
was mentally challenged, and
occasionally became the target of
bullies and thieves.

He told Pam Mello someone had
broken into his apartment a week ago.

And there was a report of another
incident since then.

a pretty good time to be a West
Virginia fan.

The Mountaineers won the Sugar
Bowl and finished ranked 5th in the
nation, and the WVU men's basketball
team came into tonight's Big East game
with Providence ranked 12th in the
nation and riding a 10 game winning
streak.

ESPN-Plus The Mountaineers were on their :00 game from the start tonight as Mike
Gansey and Kevin Pittsnogle each
dropped in 18 points, and really WVU
ran its offense so well that most of
the baskets were virtually uncontested.

The Mountaineers also forced 19
Providence turnovers and committed only
five themselves. *CG final Providence
48 The only thing WVU didn't do well
West Virginia #12 was shoot the "3". The Eers were just

64 6 of 29.

Still, West Virginia wins easily
64-to-48 to improve to 13-and-3 on the
season.

Celtics vs. Raiders Veteran coach Jim Muscaro and his :00 players knew they would have to play

Later, North Cross and Jordan
Andrews - will inbounds the ball the

hauls it in and scores the easy two.

But easy hoops were few and far
between for the the Raiders. *CG final Roanoke Catholic
101 Catholic's Walker throws a deep North Cross ball of his own to Robinson - who hands 46 it off to Phillip Martin - and the
Radford U. bound senior throws it down.
