IN YOUR OWN BACK YARD AS SOON AS THEY
ARE READY.
Confirmed by the Cia to be the voice of
Osama Bin Laden, he offered a
conditional truce with America for the
first time --- pledging to work
with the US to rebuild Iraq and
Afghanistan which the war had
destroyed.
Any suggestion of a truce......soundly
dismissed by the White House.

TERRORISTS, WE PUT THEM OUT OF
BUSINESS. THE TERRORISTS STARTED THIS
WAR AND THE PRESIDENT MADE CLEAR
HE WILL END IT."
The al qaeda leader says his message
is being sent because of
"continued deception" by President Bush
that the US troops were winning
in Iraq and Afghanistan...
SOT - AUDIO - "INDEED THE WAR IN IRAQ
IS ABLAZE RELENTLESSLY AND THE
OPERATIONS IN AFGHANISTAN ARE ON
CONSTANT ESCALATION IN OUR FAVOR WITH
THE GRACE OF ALLAH."
...and bin laden even made mention of
opinion polls in the United
States, saying the overwhelming
majority of Americans want to get
troops
out of Iraq.
Further, he said, heightened security
measures in the U-S have not
stopped additional attacks after
9-11it's because 'major operations'
take more time to prepare.
This is the first the world has heard
from the al Qaeda chief since
December 2004.
The last time he was SEEN publicly was
in a VIDEOTAPE in OCTOBER 2004.
The release of the tape also comes on
the heels of airstrikes in
Pakistan that US intelligence experts
maintain were a major blow to al
Qaeda leadership.
CHARLIE D'AGATA: CHARLIE

SOME BELIEVE THE TAPE MAY BE IN DIRECT
RESPONSE TO LAST WEEK'S
AIRSTRIKES, TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT THE

SAY IT'S UNLIKELY AL QAEDA WOULD HAVE
BEEN ABLE TO GET THEIR MESSAGE OUT
THAT QUICKLY.>>

The 700-million dollar probe is
heading to Pluto. It had been delayed
for two
days because of weather and technical
problems.
At 36-thousand miles per hour, it's
fastest man-made machine in history.
It will pass the moon just nine hours
after launch, --but it will still take
nine years to get to Pluto, which is
three billion miles away.
Because the spacecraft is powered by
24 pounds of plutonium, anti-nuclear
activists protested the launch. They
feared an explosion would have released
radiation into the atmosphere.
