FSN Roy Williams' team had to play :00 from behind most of the way in this one
thanks to countless turnovers.

Florida State was in every
passing lane and just all over the
place defensively in the first 20
minutes as the Seminoles led this thin
50-to-42 as they forced 21 Tarheel
turnovers for the game.

Reyshawn Terry kept the Tarheels
within striking distance in the first
half and a transfer from JMU put them
in the lead after intermission.

Wes Miller, the sharpshooting
guard from Charlotte got his first
career start and pumped in 18 points
including 6 three pointers, still the
Tarheels had to withstand a last second
shot by the Noles. *CG final North Carolina
81 Al Thornton's desperation three Florida State at the buzzer is wide right. The 80 Tarheels escape Tallahassee with an
81-to-80 win.
