for three weeks.

him -- and is now in a hospital on a
ventilator.

on their hands involving the Wingfield
family.
Wingfield's SON was shot and
killed several years ago in Henry
County -- but the case was so highly
publicized, it was tried in Franklin
County.

with robbing a Campbell County bank
this afternoon.

Around 12:30, a man walked into
this Sun Trust on Timberlake Road,
claimed he had a gun and demanded
money.
Witnesses say the man fled in a
teal green Nissan pickup truck, which
authorities later found at this home on
Turkey Foot Road.
A neighbor told them the two men
in the truck had left in a white van
which a Bedford County deputy stopped a
short while later.
Police have arrested Jeffrey
McCormick and Randall Scott Mason of
Evington and David Frank Sprinkle of
Lynchburg.
Authorities say some of the bank's
money was found in the van, the rest in
McCormick's home.

discovered this afternoon.
The driver missed a turn near Maywood
Drive. The car continued through one
yard about 30 feet, before going
airborne, taking out a fence and a
chunk of another backyard and then
slamming into a brick wall.

Saturday Firefighters were called out to
the 45-hundred block of Eden Drive at
about 2:30 Saturday morning.
Neighbors say they heard an
explosion, before they saw fire coming
from the home.
The home owner, 85-year-old
Dolores Zimmerman and her dog, Toby,
died in fire.

Nascar Images Toyota will run their Camry model
in the top 2 levels of stock car
racing. They have been a part of the
Craftsmen Truck Series for the past
couple of seasons. The announcement
came at Nascar's Research and

Ford, Chevy, and Dodge as manufacturers

The facility has been 10 years in
the making and the community has raised
hundreds of thousands of dollars to get
it open.
