of a convenience store in Northwest
Roanoke.

Police arrived just before eight
o-clock last night to the B-P station
along Orange Avenue at 11th Street.

Witnesses told police they saw men
shooting at each other, and the men
took off running down the street.

Police believe the men ran into the
surrounding neighborhoods, but were
unable to find them.

In fact, police tell us they're not
sure how many people were involved, and

don't have descriptions at this time.

Nobody was hurt.

more than three weeks ago.

the same person at three other sites in

Authorities have not named any
suspects, but hope to further question
Wingfield's brother, who is in the
hospital after drinking some type of
toxic liquid.

If the remains are confirmed to
be Wingfield's, this will be the second
murder in her family.

Her son was shot and killed
several years ago in Henry County.

Valley View Mall Sunday afternoon.

Police believe the pair left the
mall willingly, but both have health
problems, and need medication.

Southeast Roanoke Monday afternoon.

Both Kayla and a woman who
witnessed the incident, said the man
got out of his truck and motioned for
Kayla to get in.

The man told police he was just
concerned for Kayla, because she
appeared to be upset.

After investigating the case, police
believe the man- They've chalked it up
as a miscommunication.

McCloskey, the town of Blacksburg is
taking action to make sure it doesn't
happen again.

same name who was not in class.

Johnston's lawyer said his client
was sorry for his actions, but under

shooting in the parking lot of a
convenience store.

o-clock last night to the B-P station
along Orange Avenue at 11th Street.

Witnesses told police they saw men
shooting at each other and the men took
off running down the street.

Police believe the men ran into the
surrounding neighborhoods but were
unable to find them.

In fact, police tell us they're not
sure how many people were involved and
do not have descriptions at this time.

Nobody was hurt.

Southeast Roanoke Monday afternoon.
Both Kayla and a woman who witnessed
the incident, said the man got out of
his truck and motioned for Kayla to get

The man told police he was just

appeared to be upset. After
investigating the case, police believe
the man- They've chalked it up as a
miscommunication.

guilty yesterday to assault and battery
as part of a plea agreement.

Johnston attacked former Belview
Elementary School principal Bo
Honeycutt last October after being told

same name who was not in class.

Johnston will serve five days in
jail.

He was also ordered to take anger
