Wingfield's brother has been

hospitalized for several days after
drinking some type of toxic liquid.

Investigators have repeatedly
said they wanted to interview him,
since he lived with Wingfield and was
the last person to see her.

found two missing teenagers.

Tomika Madison and Kelly
Jones were found around 4:30 yesterday
afternoon.

Officers were concerned
because both girls had health

V-C-U Freshman is now officially
charged with the crime.

a plea yesterday- and the judge
appointed him an attorney.

Fawley is charged with first
degree murder for the death of 17 year
of Taylor Behl.

Behl's remains were found in
rural Mathews County- about a month
after she was last seen leaving her
dorm.

The medical examiner still has
not released the cause of Behl's death.

that would require boaters to take a
safety education course.

motorboat without taking a free online
course.

It failed, despite support from
the federal government, boating
industry and residents of Smith
Mountain Lake.

The decision means a similar bill

likely meet opposition in the House.

Meanwhile, the committee agreed
with a bill that would require the
safety- class for people convicted of
violating Virginia boating laws.

construction workers continued making
progress on the latest addition to the
D-Day Memorial in Bedford.

A large crane hoisted eight
heavy columns into place at the site of
the English "folly" near the north end
of the memorial.

The gazebo-like building
eventually will house a statue of
General Eisenhower. Busts of his six
lieutenants will line the nearby
pathways.

The crew that's building "the

folly" is from the same firm that
erected the Overlord Arch several years
ago.

the sign was recently raised more than
two feet to improve its visibility.

Officials at Center in the Square
say it also suffered some damage from
recent wind and cold weather.

Crews weren't able to work on the
sign yesterday because of the high
winds, but hope to have it up and

school bus sent eight students and two
adults to the hospital.

Police say the driver of a car,

47 year old Michael Boyd Witt, was
driving down the wrong side of Airport
Road yesterday morning when his car
slammed into the bus.

Witt was charged with reckless
driving, and driving on a suspended
license.

The bus carrying 33 students and
two adults was headed to
Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School,
and Bassett High School.
