Bush is expected to tout today's
Senate vote that'll likely send Samuel
Alito to the Supreme Court.

However, that White House victory
comes after several setbacks ranging

from dwindling support for the war in
Iraq to the bungled federal response to
Hurricane Katrina.

The President is also expected to use
fallout from his domestic eavesdropping
program to show his strength in
fighting terrorism.
