Carolina man has reached another
dead-end in Pittsylvania County.

disappeared in October of 2004 ... his
burned-out car was found in a wooded
area of southwestern Pittsylvania
County a week later.
Today, authorities searched an
abandoned well on a logging road about
a half mile from where the car was
discovered.
But after lowering someone down
the 35-foot hole, they discovered
nothing.

robbed a Lynchburg bank, a suspect was
taken into custody by police.

Around 2:15, a man walked into the
Bank of America on Main Street and
handed the teller a note demanding
money.
He indicated he had a weapon, but
didn't display one.
The suspect ran out but was caught
about five minutes later in a parking
lot off Church Street.
Police have charged 39-year-old
Brent Jarred Jones with robbery.

arrested in connection with his
sister's murder.

say 55-year-old Nancy Motes Wingfield
was strangled and then dismembered on
January 2nd.

Alton Motes was charged with first
degree murder in the case.

him because he had ingested a toxic
substance and had to be hospitalized.
Today, once he was released he
was charged.

woman in Roanoke County.

in 1906 in New Jersey.
Lambui worked in New York City
for what was then Standard Oil, later
named Exxon Mobile.
Lambui says she feels like a 60
