Maritime officials say the 35 year old

was carrying LESS than it's maximum

passed all safety requirements for

She disappeared from radar screens in
the early hours, around 40 miles

off the Egyptian coast, after setting

estimated 1400 people on board.

A nearby British vessel picked up a

relayed it to French authorities, who
alerted the Egyptians.

Search and rescue teams from several

WHETHER ITS A SUPERSTAR POSING AS A
WAITRESS...OR AN SUV POSING AS A

RUNWAY MODEL... SUPERBOWL ADS MAY ONCE
AGAIN ECLIPSE THE ACTION ON THE

FIELD.

ADVERTISERS ARE PLUNKING DOWN A RECORD
2 AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS FOR

A 30-SECOND SPOT DURING THIS YEAR'S BIG
GAME - WHICH IS EXPECTED TO

REACH 90 MILLION PEOPLE... AND THAT'S A
LOT OF PRESSURE TO PERFORM.

SOT-Branden Speiner, Speiner Sports:

"There's just a certain message

that you really want to send to the

consumer that you are the product in

your category."

THERE'S A PIZZA PITCHING JESSICA
SIMPSON (NAT SOUND) AND PEPSI GETS ITS

GROOVE ON WITH P-DIDDY (NAT
SOUND)...AND EVEN JACKIE CHAN (NAT
SOUND)

MASTERCARD EVEN PULLED MACGUYVER OUT OF
RETIREMENT FOR ITS LATEST

"PRICELESS" SPOT.

BUT THE KING OF SUPERBOWL ADVERTISERS
REMAINS ANHEUSER-BUSCH THIS YEAR

SHELLING OUT AN ESTIMATED 26 MILLION
FOR 10-30 SECOND SPOTS.

(ALEXIS STANDUP)

BUT DON'T EXPECT MANY RACY ADS THIS
YEAR, WITH THE SUPERBOWL NOW MORE OF

A FAMILY AFFAIR, ADVERTISERS ARE BEING
TOLD TO TONE IT DOWN.

GO-DADDY-DOT-COM -- WHICH TOOK A STAB
AT JANET JACKSON'S WARDROBE

MALFUNCTION IN ITS AD LAST YEAR -- HAS
REPORTEDLY HAD TO RESUBMIT THIS

YEAR'S AD TO A-B-C SEVERAL TIMES. AND

IT STILL MAY NOT MAKE AIR.

BUT FOR THOSE THAT DO...

(SOT-Speiner:) "You've got to tivo that

thing... because some of those

commercials are worth watching twice."

AND THAT'S WHAT ADVERTISERS ARE BANKING
ON - THAT THE BUZZ OVER THEIR

SUPERBOWL COMMERCIALS IS BIGGER THAN
THE SCORE.

Facing a board with the two
contesting teams' logos, Rasha used her

In 2003, Rasha properly picked the

However, she got it wrong in in 2004,
picking the Carolina Panthers.
