Pittsylvania County -- where a severe
thunderstorm damaged several homes and
property -- including a church.

The storm toppled trees and
scattered debris along the roads.

It also brought down power lines,
leaving some folks without power.

Center Wednesday night.

There were two huge events going
on at the same time.

But, the city hopes to alleviate
any parking problems this weekend -- as
the circus rolls into town.

of several Alabama churches today.

after another early yesterday morning
by one or more arsonists making their
way along rural roads.

Alabama Governor Bob Riley toured
the sites today, and announced a

Four of the churches have white

congregations -- and one has a black
congregation.

Her children were the first to

She was 78-years-old.
