event can often turn into a big
headache.
That was the situation for many
who came out to the Roanoke Civic
Center Wednesday night.
There were two huge events going
on at the same time.
But, the city hopes to alleviate
any parking problems this *weekend* --
as the circus rolls into town.

morning to find a car in its front
yard.

was hurt after a car crashed into this
home on Leslie Lane.
The owner of the house says he
initially thought a tree had fallen on
his house, until he went outside.

smashing into poles.

Avenue.
No other vehicles were involved
in the accident.

Two people *were* hurt following
this accident in Salem.
Police say the driver of an S-U-V
lost control and struck a telephone
pole on Texas Boulevard in front of the
Salem Civic Center.
Both the driver and the passenger
were taken to the hospital.
The passenger, a 78-year-old
male, suffered head injuries, while the
driver, a juvenile female, received
minor injuries.
Police charged the driver with
failure to maintain control.
