all their information together but for
now haven't even released the man's
name.

The body was discovered lying in
the entryway of 116 Jonathan's Landing
around 8:15 Friday night.
The home is part of a newer, gated
development off Breezewood Drive in
Lynchburg.
A resident had called police to
say she'd found a large amount of blood
in her driveway ... when officers
arrived, a search of the area turned up
the body of a 59-year-old white male
nearby.
Police executed a search warrant
at 114 Jonathan's Landing ... they were
looking for blood, hair, fibers and
different types of weapons.

Sources identify the man as
59-year-old Terrell Templeton.
He reportedly was a local
businessman who owned several buildings
around town.

The league has not only admitted
that an officiating crew made a bad
call over the weekend - it is also
suspending the entire three man crew.

Saturday-FSN The conference ruled that the
:00 crew of Mike Eades, Ray Natili and
Ed Corbett shouldn't have assessed a
technical foul to Alexander
Johnson in the second half of Florida
State's 97-to-96 overtime
loss at Duke.
The technical was Johnson's fifth
foul, coming with nine-23 left
in the game. At the time he had 13
points and eleven rebounds.
Television replays showed Johnson
attempting to back away from the
altercation, which resulted in
technicals for both players and his
disqualification.

Valley Vipers have fired head coach Jim
Wiley a month and a half left in the
season.

This Season The Vipers are in fifth place in

The Vipers have lost 11 straight
games and 15 of their last 16.

with Berthiaume as head coach in St.
Charles, Missouri on Friday night as

on the marathon circuit--where 65-year
old Dick pushes 44-year old Rick for
26-point-two grueling miles. Using a
computer generated voice, Rick explains

MY IDEA TO BEGIN RUNNING WITH MY DAD"

first competed in a five mile charity
run when Rick was in sixth grade. Now,
they've been in 64 marathons and 214
triathlons...that's a marathon plus a
112 mile bike ride and a two-point-four
mile swim. Next up--the hometown Boston

HOYT'S 25TH BOSTON MARATHON IN THE PAST
26 YEARS. THEY WERE FORCED TO SKIP THE
EVENT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO BECAUSE
DICK HAD A HEART ATTACK. FOR THIS
FATHER AND SON TEAM, THIS NUMBER 25 IS
QUITE A MILESTONE, SOMETHING THAT
APPEARED TO BE IN SERIOUS JEOPARDY JUST
A FEW MONTHS AGO." That's when Dick
tore up his knee. (NATSOUND OF RICK IN
PHYSICAL THERAPY WITH TRAINER 15:24)
"ANY DISCOMFORT THERE? IT JUST FEEL
LIKE IT'S TIGHT." He's just starting to

BEEN VERY DIFFICULT" (SHOTS OF DAMAGED
ROOM) A tree also fell and damaged part
of Dick's roof and Rick's handicapped
van died. He now has a new one, the
house is repaired, and the race in on
