This Season The Vipers have lost 11 straight
games and the first year franchise has
won just 12 of its 43 games the entire
season.

Wiley got a late start as the
head coach of the Roanoke team, as the
original Head Coach Rick Adduno left
the team for another job on September
2nd.

Wiley had virtually no time to

put together a roster before starting
training camp. The Vipers have also
had their share of injury problems and
roster changes, with their starting
goalie retiring at midseason.
Assistant coach Daniel Berthiaume takes
over the head coaching duties on an
interim basis.

Saturday-FSN The conference ruled that the :00 crew of Mike Eades, Ray Natili and

Ed Corbett shouldn't have assessed a
technical foul to Alexander

Johnson in the second half of Florida
State's 97-to-96 overtime

loss at Duke.

The technical was Johnson's fifth
foul, coming with nine-23 left

in the game. Television replays
showed Johnson attempting to back away
from the altercation, which resulted in
technicals for both players and his
disqualification.
