after police say he lost control of his
vehicle and hit a tree.

It happened early yesterday, just
after two- thirty a- m.

Officers say 68-year-old Charles
David Cassell was driving on Blackberry
Road near Bassett, when his vehicle
went off the road, hit an embankment
and then hit a tree.

Cassell died at the scene.

there were injuries this morning, when
a Metro bus crossed over a double
yellow line and hit a school bus.

transporting students to a special
education center in Vienna.

Three students and an adult on board
the school bus were not injured.

However the school bus driver and the

POSSIBLY SOME TORNADO DAMAGE IN THE

Emergency Response Team inspected the
trees and damage path for most of the
day, and HAVE determined that an F-1
tornado did touch down in Callands.

The storm left a debris field
nearly two and a half miles long.

hour. But even with the high winds, the

was seriously injured during Saturday's

beating the Seattle Seahawks 21-to-10.

Last night the hometown
celebration almost got out of hand as
thousands of fans filled the streets.

But there were no major
incidents.

They requested the children
