60-year-old William Hugh Clemons
wandered away from Harmony Hall,
sometime yesterday evening.

Harmony Hall is an assited living
facility in Bassett, where Clemons has
been a long-term resident.

Clemons was wearing a blue
jacket, a blue hat and khaki pants and
is nicknamed "Huey".

Authorities say it's imperative
Clemons is found soon because he has
several medical conditions.

GRAPHIC=Shooting A shooting in the Collinsville

area of Henry County left one man
injured.

Jason L. Woods was at 135
Conestoga Drive yesterday afternoon
when a car pulled up and two males
fired several shots hitting him in the
arm.

He was taken to the hospital and
has since been released.

Authorities have arrested three
Fieldale juveniles.

They are being charged with
malicious wounding along with several
other charges.

All three are being held without
bond.

investigating the discovery of human

remains.

Authorities say a 13-year-old boy
was fishing at the head of the James
River -- just south of Iron Gate --
when he came across a human jawbone.

The bone was in about six inches
of water and had five teeth - four of
which had fillings.

The Medical Examiner's office is
now testing it for identification.

Sheriff's deputies were in the
area yesterday morning looking for more
remains, but didn't find anything.

They plan to go back once the
water recedes.

plane bringing family members and
employees of Hendrick Motorsports to
Martinsville crashed, killing ten
people.

Yesterday, flight crew error was
cited as the cause.

While the report puts the blame
on the pilots -it essentially clears
the Blue Ridge airport.

difficult to land and maybe *that*
contributed to the crash.

cleared up.

Ridge airport's master plan before the
crash.

Davis says they will adding more
of a 'glide slope.'

This will improve a pilot's

But his farm, which is known for

kangaroos is slowly dwindingly away

which means his farm is closing down.

near his home Friday night has been

The body of 59-year-old Curtis
Terrell Templeton was found outside a
neighbor's home on Jonathan's Landing.

He'd suffered multiple injuries
and police now believe Templeton was
run over by his own car.

They say Templeton arrived home
and parked the vehicle in an inclined
driveway ... and the car rolled back
and struck him.

himself on the wrong side of the law.

Danville Deputy Sheriff William
Higdon was indicted yesterday, accused
of arranging for inmates at the
Danville City Jail to beat up inmates
who crossed Higdon.

As a reward, Higdon is accused
of giving inmates things they're not
supposed to have.

In one incident last November,
an inmate was seriously hurt.

If Higdon is found guilty, he
could face up to 25 years in prison.

about the circumstances of a fire that
killed a woman in Pittsylvania County.

October 20 New evidence has come back from
the lab, showing petroleum products
were present at a fire that broke out
at V and J Construction Company in

October.

The fire went out by
itself before co-workers found the body
of 41-year-old Sherry Burnett Estep.

Test results showed Estep
died from inhaling smoke and severe
burns.

The Sheriff's Office will
now try to figure out if the new
evidence had anything to do with her
death.

twister damaged eleven homes and a
church, mostly in the Callands area.

The path of the storm was
nearly two and a half miles long.
