investigating a double homicide in
northeast Roanoke.

apartment at 21-44 Tinker Drive around
one in the morning.

When investigators arrived they
found two women dead inside the Tinker
Manor Apartment.

Neighbors say one of the women
lived in the apartment, and the other

about last week's near-fatal heroin
overdose.

Former WSLS meteorologist Marc
Lamarre had been found unresponsive in
an apartment in South Roanoke Thursday
night.

the alley behind 2402 Broadway.

A woman who answered the door at
apartment "D" said she'd been out of
town and knew nothing of what had
happened there last week.

According to court records filed
Sunday rescue workers were able to
resuscitate Lamarre.

He was taken to the hospital, and
has reportedly since been released.

The meet started as planned but

at Noon the V-H-S-L made the decision
to make it a 1-day event due to the
prospect of Snow on Saturday. This
meant that the over 7-hundred swimmers
who hit the pool in seach of State
Titles would have only 1 shot to put up
a winning time instead of having to
qualify through the pre-lims. Coming
up at 6 we'll hear from the meet
director and some of the participants
on cutting the meet short.
