As you can see there is some snow
already starting to accumulate on some
of the neighborhood roads around
Roanoke.

Some have been completely
covered, while others are staying
slushy.

Either way the roads will remain
fairly slick throughout the night.

The main roads, like
Interstate-581 are staying more clear
and that is because until the snow
stops falling, V-DOT will concentrate
their efforts on those main roads.

Another issue with this snow is
the fact that it's been a fairly wet
and heavy snow and has collected on
some of the power lines in the area.

However, there are no major
outages being reported at this time.
