were pleased with the conditions.

Troopers say this mess in
Buchanan WAS NOT even weather related.

And the lack of snow accumulation
did free up some much needed resources
to help the Burchanan Fire Department
clear off the wreck.

morning.

Marie Wright were found dead Friday
morning inside a Tinker Manor Apartment
in northeast Roanoke.

Neighbors did NOT report hearing

Another neighbor said one of the
victim's five-year-old son found the
women.

Police have made NO arrests and
have NOT said how the two women died.

primary in June to pick THEIR nominee
to challenge Senator George Allen's bid
for a second term.

A state governing committee voted
today in favor of a primary over a
statewide convention.

Two Democrats are vying for the
Senate seat their party controlled
until the Republican Allen defeated
Senator Chuck Robb in 2000.

Harris Miller, a wealthy
technology businessman, and James Webb,
who served President Reagan as
Secretary of the Navy, are competing
for the nomination.

Both are from northern Virginia.

a house fire early this morning.

Howeland Circle around 4:30.

The residents did get out safely.

Fire officials say there is heavy
damage in the basement and to the back
of the house, but the cause is unknown.

It took more than an hour to get
