(END SOT) Rogers' sons, Jonathan and Christopher,

were publicly blaming each other for
her death.

Jonathan came right out in court
documents and flatly said Christopher
killed her.

"Christopher H. Rogers inflicted
the blunt trauma that caused Decedent's
death," Jonathan wrote.

The Medical Examiner had
ultimately attributed Terry Rogers'
death to "blunt force trauma to the
head with drug (OxyCodone) toxicity."

Christopher says Jonathan "is a
suspect as well."

"The only person that I know of,"
Christopher wrote in April, 2004, "that
actually had something to benefit from
by my Mother's death remains Jonathan."

RUNS=04 (END SOT)

OQ= City and State police executed

several search warrants in the weeks
and months after Rogers' death. They
even scoured a pond near the house.

One of the warrants alleges
"Christopher Rogers had been using [his
mother's credit card and checking]
accounts without her permission prior
to her death." Jonathan says: in the
week before Terry Rogers' body was
found, Christopher racked up tens of
thousands of dollars in unauthorized
charges.

It was Christopher who sued
Jonathan, challenging his right to
serve as Administrator of their
mother's estate.

Terry Rogers supposedly executed
a new will less than six weeks before
her death. Like each of her earlier
wills, the final contested version made
no provision for Jonathan. However
Christopher was supposed to get
20-thousand dollars a year until age
70, when he would get the rest.
Christopher is now 58.

When we approached Christopher,

he refused to discuss the case and told
us to get off the property.

The house is up for sale now,
even though the civil case was never
resolved, and the estate has not been
settled.

Jonathan says there's been a
"partial resolution," that they've
declared a truce. But he won't go
beyond that. He's moved to Floyd,
taken his law practice with him. He
sold his law office on Kirk Avenue in
Roanoke. The deal is set to close next
month.

Less than three months after
Jonathan first went public, accusing
his brother of killing their mother,
the two men reached a confidential
settlement.

They jointly put the 7-acre Lake Ridge
Horse Farm up for sale. City property
records cite Jonathan AND Christopher
as co-owners. The Real Estate listing
also names the two brothers as joint
owners.

The farm is assessed at
613-thousand dollars, the asking price:
850-thousand. Still on the market more
than seven months after it was first

listed, the 4-thousand square-foot farm
house on Lake Drive is still home to
Christopher Rogers.>>

Sources tell News 7 Sports
tonight that Tony Ball - the wide
receivers' coach for the Hokies for the
past 8 seasons, is a prime target of
the University of Georgia.

The Bulldogs have a vacancy
because running backs' coach Kirby
Smart recently left for the NFL's
Dolphins.

Ball, was a tailback himself in
college.

He has been instrumental in the
development of Andre Davis and Ernest
Wilford and the Hokies' current crop of

young receivers.

Two women from P-E-T-A got the
attention of many as they staged a
protest outside the K-F-C in Salem.

One woman only wore a bikini.

They handed out leaflets, and
waved signs at on-coming traffic,
protesting the way the restaurant
