VO-NAT A study released today by the

Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety
shows that motor vehicle accidents are
the number one cause of death for
children ages eight through twelve.

Researchers say parents of older
children should be just as cautious as
those with infants and toddlers.

A good start is having them
buckled up in the backseat at all
times.

Some suggestions to keep the kids
happy in the back-- let them choose the
radio station or play a game.

And the coalition says parents
should always lead by example and
buckle up themselves.

Northwood vs. George Wythe Al Copenhaver's Maroons opened
the Hogoheegee district tournament
tonight with a stout 21 and 1 record as
they hosted Northwood.

This was all George Wythe - the
quick no-look pass from Derrick Davis
to Brandon Wolford who gets the assist
to Cole Wilder for the banker and the
Maroons are rolling.

GW again - this time Tennis Simon
chases down the loose ball, gather it
in and lays it in for another deuce.
It was 19-to-0 before Northwood scored. *CG final Northwood
38 But this George Wythe's night as George Wythe the Davis hits the wide open jumper and 105 the Maroons roll to the 105 to 38 win.
