The development will likely generate
more traffic around the mall, and make
parking even tighter during the
holidays.

But the plan is also receiving
positive reviews tonight.

development... While we did find some
concern over parking and traffic, we
also found plenty of excitement over
the prospect of additional retailers
landing here in Roanoke.

These giant birds will soon start
popping up all over town.

It's part of the Blacksburg
Partnership's new "Gobble de Art"
program.

75 fiber glass birds will be
decorated and painted by local artists
and placed around town.

The first bird was put up today
in front of the town municipal
building.
