gunfire in a Dallas neighborhood this
morning, while attempting to serve a
drug warrant.

warning of the raid, when someone
inside the home opened fire.

including a ten-year-old boy, were
taken into custody.
Meanwhile, one of the officers who
was shot is listed in serious condition
with a leg wound.

continues.

Rachel and Lillian were buried together
in a wooden casket earlier this
month. The day prosecutors announced
they were charging Entwistle, a
spokesperson for Rachel's family
expressed grief and disbelief.

internet companies he started failed.
Local officials say this case has taken
a toll on the quiet boston
surburb and now with the trial getting
so much attention it may be a
while before the town can get back to

Vice President Dick Cheney has no
public schedule today...following his
much anticipated interview on
Wednesday.

A somber vice president talked about
his hunting accident for the first
time, with Brit Hume of Fox
News...taking full responsibility and
calling it the worst day of his life.

that I'll never be able to get
out of my mind. I fire and there's

And while Mister Cheney has broken his
silence....the victim, Harry
Whittington has not. Doctors here in
Texas say he's on the mend, but
out of respect for the Vice President,
the 78-year-old attorney has not
commented.
During the interview, Mister Cheney was
clearly shaken by the accident,
but he was unrepentant about keeping it
from the public for almost 24
hours.....and his decision to let the
ranch owner release the
information to a local newspaper.

"I think Katherine was an excellent
choice. I thought it made good
sense for several reasons. First of
all, she was an eyewitness, she'd
seen the whole thing."
The vice president had been under
intense pressure to talk about the
misfire. His decision to speak
exclusively to one network has drawn
further criticism. But now that it's
been done...many in
Washington...especially Republicans...
are looking to move on.

Westminster Dog Show is now the focus
of a major search.

The champion whippet named Vivi
escaped from her cage yesterday at
J-F-K International Kennedy Airport,
just before she was about to make a
flight bound for Los Angeles.

A search of the nearly five thousand
acres surrounding the airport have yet
to yield anything.
And Vivi's owners are making a
desperate plea for their prized dog's
return.
They say this is the first time Vivi
has broken out her cage.

merit.

points per game. But what can't be
measured on a stat sheet is the size of
Ferrell's heart. Born with what's
known as a brachial plexus injury, he
suffered damage to the nerves in his
right shoulder and arm, which prevents
him from extending that arm or lifting
it above his head.
TRAE:
Ferrell hasn't allowed his arm to slow
him down in the least bit, displaying
perhaps the best work ethic of any
player on the Roanoke Valley Christian
School team. Trae is just one of the
guys, especially when he takes the
court.
TRAE:
What is a big deal to Trae is the fact
that he's embraced the opportunity to
encourage others with limitations
through his situation.

Ferrell is also a standout soccer
player who hopes to continue that
endeavor at Liberty University in the
