criminal charges after police raided a
pot-growing operation at his home this
morning.

Inside, they found more than one
hundred marijuana plants, growing
equipment, guns and cash.

a popular hair salon in Salem says the
fire that destroyed her business may

have been a good thing.

cleared the drug maker of any
responsibility in the death of a 53
year old Florida man-

he died of a heart attack after

taking Vioxx for less than a month.

Lawyers for Merck convinced jurors
that a link was never made between
taking Vioxx and the heart attack he

Instead they argued the man's age,
gender and diet were major contributing
factors.

Interstate 81 is apparently making an
impact... fewer wrecks on a 15- mile
stretch in the Roanoke Valley.

porn, we think of an adult looking at
pictures of naked children.

But in Botetourt County, the
Sheriff's office is investigating a
case involving all juveniles.

According to Sheriff Ronald
Sprinkle, three teenage girls were at a
sleepover and took pictures of each
other.

They then sent the pictures to a
15-year-old boy over the Internet. When
an adult realized what had gone on, the
Sheiff's office was notified.

one man charged with going into a
woman's home and killing her earlier
this week.

this afternoon.

Police are still looking for 21
year old Jason Lamond Faulkner.

Both men are from Martinsville.

They face second degree murder
charges, along with breaking and
entering, and gun charges.

Monday Deputies responded to a home on
Ashley Drive Sunday night -- inside
they found 22 year old Meghan Lee Price
with a gunshot wound to the back of her
head.

She later died.

Her boyfriend told police
someone broke in and opened fire.

He also told them that he fired
several shots back at the intruders.

Knights' head coach and before that she
was an assistant under Dave Layman.

Long won 209 games as a head
coach and had four seasons in which she

from 1987 through 1995 - the Lady
Knights won 8 straight Roanoke Valley
district championships.

In 1999 Linda Long was the
state's Group Three A coach of the

University of Virginia football team
for an off the field incident.

spectacular crash in the closing laps -
as Frank Kimmel showing why "Bump
Drafting" is often a bad idea.

He bumps Steve Kinser, who cuts

Kinser is not only airborne, but
sliding on his roof down the back
stretch.

It took 12 minutes to clean up
the debris and just about that long to
cut Kinser out of his car.
