A seminar, held at the Hotel Roanoke,
gave tips to better secure businesses,
both inside and outside.
For example, make sure businesses
are well lit, windows aren't cluttered
and use surveillance cameras and height
charts, so police can get good
descriptions on robbery suspects.
Turn out wasn't as high as police
hoped.
Of the 1200 invitations, only 18
people showed up.

recent robberies there was no

police to find the robbers. It's also
important to have door strips with a

During a Robbery, it's important for

person in and out as quickly as
possible.
Once the person is out, police say lock
the doors, separate witnesses and
secure any places the person might have

out and survey your business and give
you suggestions...And the best part, is
that service is totally free. So if
